New!  Environmental Math & Earth Day

 

The Committee on Mathematics and the Environment was formed

1.                           To present programs of varying types at national meetings that will
stimulate attendees to pursue their interest in environmental mathematics.

2.                           To support those writing EM teaching and research materials and
otherwise implementing EM throughout the country and world.

3.                           To suggest ways to the mathematical communities to carry on their operations in a more environmentally responsible way.
