14.8   Hunting for Items

You can search for items from the Search tab.   Select the field you want to search in from the Search pull-down menu then type your search string in the for field and click the Search Items button.

You can use % as a wild card.   For example, if you are looking for a book whose title has the words "Wet" and "Porcupine" in it, you would select Title from the Search pull-down menu, type in %Wet%Porcupine% in the for field and click the Search Items button.   You can further refine your search by selecting the And buttons for up to four additional lines and use them just like the first Search line.

There are also options to match All of the following or Any of the following as well as set case Sensitive or Insensitive on searches.   For example, another way to search for a book whose title has the words "Wet" and "Porcupine" in it would be to set the first search line to Title and Wet and click And on the next search line and set it to Title and Porcupine and click the Search Items button..
