7.1   Allow students to read a file

As world read privileges have been removed from home directories you will need to perform the following steps if you want to give world read permissions on your home directory.

• Open My Computer
• right click on the U: drive and select Properties
• click the Security tab
• click advanced
• select everyone
• check the Allow box for Read Permissions
• click OK
• click OK
• click OK
