5.3   Linux openoffice has no printers defined

From John Weber, Tue Oct 2 15:27:43 2007 Subject: TicketID#20070905163429

This problem is still with us and may be until we can switch to CUPS print server.

For now: In openoffice, print (or export) to a pdf file and then print that.   It can be printed from the command line, e.g.

    lpr -Pspeare5 yourfile.pdf

or
    lpr -Pspeare5 -Zduplex yourfile.pdf

for duplex printing.

One can also print a pdf from acrobat reader, but the same commands as above need to be entered anyway.
