Summer Faculty Fellowship Council |
The Summer Faculty Fellowship Program is administered by the National Research Council (NRC) and is intended to bring faculty members to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) technical Directorates and the US Air Force Academy to conduct research for a period of 6 to 11 weeks between July and September. The program provides financial support over the summer months to faculty who are in the initial stages of developing a line of research or scholarship. Successful applicants are expected to present records of prior activity, which strongly suggest a devotion to scholarship and the potential for high quality achievement. Faculty members may conduct research only in those research areas already approved for the AFRL NRC Associate Program and with NRC approved Research Advisors. AFOSR will fund approximately 50 participants. |
