I like Jack Vance, Gene Wolfe, Cordwainer Smith, and the translations of Sir Richard Burton. I'm only halfway through the Patrick O'Brian novels. I've acquired a Moosewood vegetarian cookbook somehow, and occasionally prepare recipes from that. They go well with a growler from Socorro Springs.
