Corporate Advisory Board Gains a Member, and Says Goodbye to Another
The Technical Communication faculty at New Mexico Tech would like to thank Art Elser for his many years of service as a Corporate Advisory Board member. Without him, we know that our program would not be nearly as strong as it is today. Thank you! We would also like to announce that Craig Leslie of National Instruments has accepted our invitation to join the Corporate Advisory Board in Art's place. We look forward to having Craig's help and input as we continue to grow the TC program. Welcome, Craig! |

STC Trinitite Chapter Sends 5 To PhillyFive members of the STC student chapter at New Mexico Tech--the Trinitite chapter--will be travelling to Philidelphia May 31st-June 5 to attend the annual summit of the Society for Technical Communication. STC is the premier organization for practitioners and researchers in technical communication. At the convention, students will participate in workshops and attend seminars and presentations relevant to technical communications. Student members also plan on touring Philedelphia and visiting the historical sites of the city. The Trinitite chapter is the only student STC chapter in New Mexico, and one of the longest running student chapters in the Southwest. For more information about the STC summit, visit the STC website at http://www.stc.org. You can find more information about the Trinitite chapter of STC at NMT at http://www.nmt.edu/~stc. |
