In June 2000 I was on a mountaineering trip in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru. This is the view from our Ishinca High Camp to Urus (on the way up to Ishinca) which we had climbed a few days before.

I started canoeing late in 1997. It's great fun! This picture is
taken on a two-week canoeing trip on the Snake River in the Yukon Territory
(Canada, July 1998). My friend Alan is in the front of the boat.
Alan, Roberto and I went to Patagonia together over Christmas 1997. We hiked both in the Argentinian and Chilean Andes. Here we are on a 5-day trip at the Rio Pipo in Tierra del Fuego (Argentina).
We spent the last days hiking in San Carlos de Bariloche (Argentina).
