About SWE
First off let us clear up a common misconception, while the most of us are women engineers you certainly do not need to be an engineer or even a woman to join! Anyone can support engineering and women in engineering. So please drop by a meeting sometime, we would like to meet you!

Some SWE Facts:
SWE was founded in 1950 and is a non-profit educational and service organization.
SWE values Integrity, Respect, Mutual Support and Professional Excellence. 
SWE offers great networking opportunities.
SWE offers leadership training and other professional development workshops. 
SWE awards scholarships to freshmen through graduate students and these scholarships, along with fellowships range from $1,000 to $10,000 each.
SWE has a member exclusive resume database and job bank that can help you manage your first or next career move.
