Study Away Opportunities

Tech offers several ways to sample life at another school sometime during your degree program. At least one year of study at Tech, a satisfactory GPA (at least 2.5 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students), and no social or financial problems are the basic qualifications for taking advantage of one of these programs:

National Student Exchange
Tech belongs to this consortium of some 170 universities in the U.S. plus a few in Canada.

One-to-One Exchange Programs
New Mexico Tech has exchange agreements with several international universities.

New Mexico International Education Consortium
Some post-secondary institutions in New Mexico allow students to use each other's study-abroad programs.

Direct Enrollment
We will help you make the arrangements for direct enrollment at another university.
