The SQUID

Newsletter Name

The Trinitite Newsletter has a new name - The SQUID. Sounds odd? We know. Suggested by Linda Lambert, The SQUID was approved by a 4 to 1 vote because of its uniqueness compared to other STC newsletter names. SQUID stands for Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices, which is a system that allows better communication and orientation positioning information for individual miners or mining machines.

Most submissions were submitted by TC 101 students. Thanks to all that submitted to our newsletter naming contest.

Submission Guidelines

Our Chapter welcomes and encourages submissions from TC students and faculty, as well as anyone in the Tech community or the TC field. Submissions should be no longer than 500 words, and should be submitted in .doc or .pdf format. Please include the title and byline on the top of the page. We accept just about any article, as long as it's related to TC.

Please submit articles via email to stc@nmt.edu. Articles may be edited, but we won't make any tremendous changes without your consent.
