Socorro Search and Rescue

			   Training Standards

To meet training standards, a member of Socorro Search and Rescue must 
have participated in six different training activities within the last
12 months.

The six areas of required training are:
 * overnight campout (not car camping)
 * tracking (day or night)
 * search techniques or mock search
 * map and compass or orienteering
 * litter carry (technical or non-technical)
 * elective (any area not covered above)
