9th Annual SPE 49'ers Gold Rush Golf Scramble

The NMT SPE student chapter hosts the annual golf tournament during New Mexico Tech's legendary 49'ers weekend celebration. The tournament is a scramble competition with 4-person teams. The cost is $249 for a 4-person team, $65 for an individual. Early payment discount! $55 if you register by October 14, 2011. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places are awarded.

There will also be two small competitions: closest to the pin and a putting contest, giving participants a chance to show their skill at driving. There are a lot of prizes to be given away, including: Trophies, golf bags, & a putter or wedge for the closest to the pin contest.

• Date: Friday, October 21, 2011
• Time: 9:00 am (Shotgun Start)
• Registration and breakfast 7:30 - 8:30 am
• Lunch: Boxed lunches throughout the day
• Awards Reception following the tournament at the Pavilion. Appetizers will be served.
• Location: New Mexico Tech Golf Course, on Canyon Rd (west of the NMT campus)
• Player registration deadline: Monday, October 17, 2011.
• Sponsorship deadline: Level 1-Friday, Sep 30th; Level 2-Friday, Oct 7th.
