Hello, my name is Jeff Shipman and I'm a Software Design Engineer
at Microsoft. Recently, I graduated from the
New Mexico Institute
of Mining and Technology with a Bachelors
in Computer Science. So, yeah, I
guess you could consider me a computer nerd. Anyway, the thing I
love to do is software development. I really enjoy programming. My
current projects include:

Discover-a-Dish®. This is a program
for Windows and Linux that I've created using Qt.
It is a very handy
utility for organizing meals and finding out what you can make with what you

Shippy's Guestbook. This is a set of Python
CGI scripts that I created which can be used as a website guestbook. It's free
for you to download and modify to suit your needs. Most of the appearance is
easily customizable. It's actually what I use for
my guestbook.
BTW, I just wanted to let you all know that I work on my homepage with a
nice program called Vim. It
is a powerful text editor with bunches of neat stuff like syntax highlighting. Anyway, I made this
website on my home computer
which is an AthlonXP 2000+. If you'd like, you can check out my
