13.5.1. DEGREES

Degrees symbol (°).

13.5.2. MINUTES

Unicode has a “prime” symbol (″, ″, “′”), but for some reason browsers want to add about an em of space after it, so we'll just use a plain old single-quote.

13.5.3. NON_BREAKING_SPACE

Unicode entity  .

13.5.4. NDASH

Unicode entity –, an en-dash for separating ranges of numbers.

13.5.5. COMBINING_OVERLINE

Places a line over the preceding character. Used to make the mean symbol, with a bar over it.

Lowercase Greek letter sigma, σ.
