8.3. content-list

The content-list function describes the positional arguments to methods such as Section 12, “Sox.start(): Start an element”. The interpretation of each positional argument depends on its type.

sox.py
# content-list ==
# a list whose elements may be unicode, str, int, bool, or
#   dict
#
# Describes positional arguments to methods like Sox.start().
# - unicode arguments become content.
# - str, int, and bool arguments are converted to Unicode
# with UTF-8 and become content.
# - For dict arguments, keys must be valid XML names, and
# values may not contain any unescaped '<' or '&'
#       characters.
