Just east of Don Felipe Road, a short distance south of the north end of business I-25.

Many in a field west of Don Felipe Rd. that didn't look flooded, but the grass was tall, so there must have been water under there.
Breeding: At least two immatures. Photos are good examples of how the leg joint in birds is the heel, not the knee. as they are shown resting with their legs bent "the wrong way".

At the restaurant "Margarita at Pine Creek", my lifer Black Bear appeared at the fence. Some diners made a fuss about this and took photos (I had no camera). Later a server told us, "If you want to get good looks at the bear, check our garbage enclosure in a few minutes."
