Route Worked around 10am and again at 4pm, trying to find the possible Tropical/Couch's Kingbird reported yesterday by Jack Drummond.

Description: Lots. I checked them all for the possible Tropical/Couch's. There was one individual near the spot reported by Drummond (on the south loop, 0.3 mi S of the Marsh Deck) that had a somewhat crisp mask and seemed a bit bright, but its bill was not notably longer than the other Westerns, and I did discern white outers in the folded tail. Hard to say if this was Drummond's bird.

Best swallow-watching spot today was the boardwalk at the southwest corner. Hordes of swallows like to sit on the railing or in the fencing.

Near the end of the Farm Loop.
Description: One transitional-plumage bird was the cinnamon-brown female plumage from about the middle of the folded wing up, with the rest mainly blue with flecks of brown.
