Route With Leonard Compagno. Walked out the south breakwater, if you can call it walking over the huge rip-rap rocks, carrying the Questar 3.5" with heavy tripod, in hopes of getting photos of the reported Yellow-billed Loon. Success.

One of the Baylands staffers had just removed a fish-hook from the bird's mouth, and was kind enough to hold it while I photographed it. The red eye gives it a fierce appearance.
