Membership (Registration) Fees

The Science Olympiad is a national, non-profit, tax exempt organization, devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science, and providing recognition of outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers.

As a member of the National Science Olympiad we are responsible for collecting all membership (registration) fees from all participating schools for competition in the New Mexico's Science Olympiad.  These member fees are broken down as follows:

$135.00 - Per School Membership (Registration)

$85.00 - Per Additional Teams (limit two teams per division) participating on the regional level.

How are the fees used?

$135.00 Team State Membership (Registration):

• $60.00 registration fee, per school, is paid to the National Science Olympiad.

• $25.00 per school is paid to Regional Science Olympiads for expenses incurred during their competitions.

• $50.00 per school is used to cover NM Science Olympiad expenses such as room rentals, materials, equipment, event supervisor (volunteers) lunches, etc.

 

$85.00 per additional team participating in Regional competitions:

• $60.00 registration fee, per school, is paid to the National Science Olympiad.

• $25.00 per school is paid to Regional Science Olympiads for expenses incurred during their competitions.
