LINUX ONLY UPGRADES:

	Wednesday September 16, from 7:00am to 12:00 noon
	Linux only machines in speare5 (pi,cobra,eldorado,boardwalk,
	and corvette) will be upgraded to the TCC Fedora 11 distribution.
	During this time please use rainbow or login (still Fedora 9 machines)
	or test your programs on underdog (Fedora 11 machine).


WEBCT-6 DECOMMISSIONED:
----------------------
    WebCT has been turned off due to license expiration.

    Blackboard (version-8) will be its replacement CMS (Course
    Management System).  Go to "https://nmt.blackboard.com/" and use
    your TCC account password to login.  (Note that self-enrollment
    is not available.)


LINUX PRINTING:
--------------
    To print from gtk apps like Firefox and OpenOffice use the 
    'LPR' command 'lpr -Pprintername'  (much like before)

    Examples: 'lpr -Pspeare5'  or for 2-sided  'lpr -Pspeare5 -Zduplex'
