My origianl plans for food had been a Maori(esque) casserole of pork, apples, and sweet potatoes (obviously a post colonial casserole) coupled with a Fiji chicken stew. Then I found out I was down a Jason and a Hather. So instead I made four kinds of Spam with four kinds of Stovetop Stuffing and mashed potatoes. The gravy I made from Spam and schmaltz with whole wheat flour.
It was terrible. So terrible. OH THE HUMANITY.
