The land is owned by a stanch republican. The Obama graffiti showed up Friday night or Saturday morning. The McCain signs showed up Monday morning.
A quick survey reveals that this is the only stoplight in town that appears to be missing a stoplight.

On my way to Warren's house I passed two suspicious signs. The last time I went that way, on Wednesday, all I remembered seeing was a block of cement behind a fence with a no trespassing sign. Even before I got close I could tell that someone had written Obama on the cement, and added some peace signs. Someone else came to hid the Obama with McCain signs. The perplexing question in my mind is who owns the land and the big of cement and what are their political views? Is the Obama the graffiti, or are the McCain signs? It wouldbn't surprise me at all if the owner knew nothing about this.

Last week I noticed PPLant was putting some kind of chain link cover onto the wall they built around some pipes and meters. At the time I assumed they were covering it to keep people out. I was in a hurry and didn't stop to take a picture then. Now that they are done, I'm curious why it is they did this. It obviously wasn't keep anyone out.

I went to sushi with J and M and the PWS. At the sushi place an odd sign got my attention. "Audio Monitoring On These Premises"

I've certainly seen businesses that openly monitor you with videocameras, and they do advise you that you are being filmed. I couldn't spot a single hidden microphone in this place though.

Somewhere, I can only hope, a blind voyeuristic sushi stalker is getting his jollies to "I like eel. I like eel too. Hey that has eel in it."

In other news, flowers make a kitchen seem more sexy.
