Mission Statement
Institutional Research at New Mexico Tech is performed on a part-time basis by R&ED's Research Services Office to achieve the following goals:
- To complete all federally-mandated surveys (such as the IPEDS surveys from the National Center for Education Statistics)
- To complete surveys from selected publications or other entities (such as U.S. News & World Report, Princeton Review, Peterson's, The College Board, etc.)
- To develop and maintain data resources to support strategic planning and policy-making processes at New Mexico Tech.
The Research Services Office strives to produce institutional statistics that are accurate, timely, and useful. These statistics are based on data supplied by the Offices of the Registrar, Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, Admission, Payroll, and Residential Life. Their assistance is much appreciated!
