Preliminary xt4 Documentation

NOTE:
This documentation is incomplete in sections (sometimes entire sections) as it is still being created.

Overview

The purpose of this system is to:

  1. automate the tracking of problems, projects, and other work requests
  2. aid in providing better service and up-time to our users
  3. build a searchable knowledge base of solutions to problems
  4. aid in resource tracking, allocation, and projections.

Contents

  1.   Requirements .
  2.   Work Flow .
  3.   Specifications .
  4.   Rules .
  5.   Items   (as in "to do").

These specifications are based on review of the xticket project, the xt3 project, and various emails and tickets relating to problems or enhancements of TCC ticket systems (past and present).

Use will be made of the following xt3 document sections in lieu of a formal spec:

  1.   Todo List
  2.   Documentation
  3.   xt3 FAQ
  4.   Concerns .
