Billiards Classes  (Pocket, and Carom)

These courses are one credit-hour.   They are offered as PR (physical recreation) courses and meet in the Fidel, Student Services Center, game room.   Please check the course catalog for availability and current CRNs.

  Basic Carom Billiards.   (PROPOSED)
Was proposed for the Fall 2012 semester.   It may fly in the Spring of 2013.   Planning for it to meet Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00 to 10:50.   This class is limited to 12 students.   As we have only one carom table each student will have to spend some class time learning carom billiards on the pocket tables (there will be some use of the snooker table for practicing "English Billiards").

  Introduction to 3 Cushion Billiards.   (PROPOSED)
Proposed for Spring 2013 if there is sufficient demand , it would meet Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 10:50.   This class is limited to 12 students.   As we have only one carom table each student will have to spend some class time learning carom billiards on the pocket tables.

Beginning Pocket Billiards     (PR 189C-02).     (Fall 2012)
So far there is only a morning session (M,W 10:00-10:50).   Each section is limited to 15 students (minimum enrollment is 10).

  Intermediate Pocket Billiards.   (PROPOSED)
Proposed for the Spring of 2013 if there is sufficient demand and meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM.   This class is limited to 15 students (minimum enrollment is 10).

  Survey of Cue Sports.   (PROPOSED)
Proposed for the Spring 2013 semester.   It meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM.   This class is limited to 15 students (minimum enrollment is 10).
