Museum Tour: we entertain approximately 15,000 visitors in the Mineral Museum each year. Of those, we usually average more than 20 school groups per year. Make the most of your visit and grab a Teacher's guide. To schedule a formal visit (with guide), please contact Susie Welch via email or (505) 835-5112. The museum is free and open seven days a week, so don't hesitate to do your own tour any time using this guide.

My own education from gradeschool to graduate school, a photo-essay just for fun.
Last spring (2004) I went to Ghana with my graduate advisor, Dr. Norman, and a group of students. Our photos can be viewed here. After the trip, I put together a presentation on the trip for the Albuquerque Gem & Mineral Club.
