The Trebuchet
The trebuchet is up and flinging! It took around 9 months, but it is now in working condition, and judging by the test throws, it won't be breaking anytime soon. Until we pre-stress the arm, though, the counter-weight used is minimal, which means we aren't throwing near our max distance yet. And we already have some 350 foot throws, with good precision.

The Air Cannon
As physics majors our appetite for poorly directed destruction is endless. Our armory also contains a air cannon capable of bombarbing a very small city with a mortal fear of canned peas and very ripe melons at as much as a 1/4 mile away.
We usually fire it at tech events such as the Mud Bog and generally whenever we feel like it. We also have a challenge in from the Mechanical Engineering Department, check the calendar to see when.
