Note: These issues are normally on a -1 or +3 day variance. This is due to the demands at the printing plant and the workloads of the staff.

New Issue this Tuesday

Paydirt is back on schedule! We will have a new issue out on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. In this issue we have a tentative Spring Fling schedule and prizes.

Also we want your opinion on this issues question. Read it on page 8 of Paydirt.

If you want to write articles for Paydirt, we're looking for articles regarding clubs, volunteer work, student profiles, and campus issues across campus. Email paydirt@nmt.edu if you're interested.

Paydirt Articles & Announcements

Thanks to everyone for sending in their articles on-time. Look out for the paper on February 13th, 2007.

Also as an announcement since Paydirt needs your help to write and photograph the Spring Fling issue, if anyone wants to write articles and take photos, please email us at paydirt@nmt.edu and what you may be interested.

If you are interested in creating a Yearbook, the Paydirt Editor and two RAs are working to make this happen. We need more help to make this a success and form a class out of this test-trial. Email paydirt@nmt.edu for more details or stop by the office to ask questions on how you can help.

Additionally, the Student Activities Board needs your input on what to do for Spring Fling, you can either enter this survey (http://www.surveyconsole.com/console/TakeSurvey?id=309206) and attend SAB meetings in Fidel Center 3rd Floor Lobby at 1pm every Tuesday.

New Issue - #2

On Thursday we published our second issue of the spring 2007 semester. Pick it up in a variety of locations across campus.

The paper can be found in Fidel Center, Workman, Jones Annex, MSEC, Speare, Cramer, Weir, Library, Brown, Fitch, Gym, Fine Arts, and Macey. Additional locations across campus include Workman (3rd floor), Weir (Math Help Room), and Fidel (Computer Pod). Also for the dorms, they are located in study/main lounges in Presidents, Driscoll, West, South, Altamirano, Baca, and Desert Willow.

Did we forgot a location? Did we forget to stick a new newspaper edition somewhere? Email paydirt@nmt.edu or leave a message below in order to notify us of the missed location and we'll fix it as soon as possible.

Deadlines and Issue Dates

We now have a calendar of dates and deadlines for Spring 2007. Paydirt is currently going to accept deadlines for the first newspaper until this Friday. This allows us time to edit articles, design, print, and distribute the newspaper on-time.

Also, deadlines for advertisements fall under the same dates. There will be some flexibility with deadlines and issue dates to accommodate with class and school schedules but under extraordinary cases.

If you wish to write an article, photograph, drawing, please follow the schedule deadlines and submit all works on or before the deadline. If you can't make the deadline and want to have something published, email paydirt@nmt.edu to notify us.

Note: All submitted work will be edited for grammar and in some cases content. If you are a New Mexico Tech student, you do get paid for your work that gets published.
