Paydirt is the student newspaper of New Mexico Tech. As such, it is completely managed by students and an executive agency of the Student Association. It is published on a bi-weekly basis.

Mission Statement 

Paydirt will strive to be the voice of the student body of New Mexico Tech; to educate and inform them, and to spread information pertaining to student life and the surrounding community. It will be honest, fair, and unbiased, and will communicated with journalistic integrity about the aforementioned aspects, as well as others.

Vision Statement

Paydirt will be fair and balanced. It will be organized in a manner that is both creative and appropriate for the content. The publication's staff will be a cohesive group of individuals that work together towards making Paydirt the best student news source available to the student body.
