My name is Tim Barreras, I am a Sophomore transfer student born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am majoring in Civil Engineering and I intend to specialize in water resources and earn a minor in Mathematics. I enjoy learning and sharing my knowledge with others; I found that re-teaching material from past courses taken and immense repetition reinforces the concepts and maintains the specific skill sets learned in each course.

My name is Alexander Kral. I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in both Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. I was born in Albuquerque New Mexico where I lived until coming down south to Socorro. This here is my second semester at New Mexico Tech, where I hope to graduate in three and a half years’ time. If I had one piece of advice for succeeding here at Tech it would be to surround yourself with people who motivate and challenge you to be your best. It’s too easy to accept failure because your peers share in that failure.
Hello my name is Austen Lane. I am 2nd year chemical engineer attending New Mexico Tech. I grew up in Rio Rancho and spent most of my schooling in some form of home schooling growing up. I enjoy some math and mathematical theory of chemistry, and it is the reason I became a chemical engineer major. I spend most of my time doing homework, playing video games, and board games. One of my major hobbies is collecting and playing board games.
Hello, my name is Willie Lopez. I plan on majoring in Electrical Engineering, and am currently a sophomore. This is my second semester here at New Mexico Tech.
