Collections – Circulating Resources

Circulating resources include:

  • Books: Books in a wide variety of subjects, including some popular fiction, are located on the second floor of the Library. Graphic novels and manga can be found on the first floor in the Library's café.
  • Government Publications: The Library has been a depository for federal government publications since 1984 and for state documents since 1988. Visit Government Publications for more information about our collection.
  • CD's: Music and spoken CD's, among others, may be be checked out. Music materials of Tech's Music Program are for overnight use.
  • DVD's and Blu-rays: We have approximately 1,000 entertainment and instructional DVD's and Blu-rays available for checkout. Entertainment DVD's and Blu-rays may be checked out for three days, while instructional DVD's circulate for three weeks. A video/DVD viewing booth is provided in the Library. Headphones are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.
  • Maps: The Library owns approximately 17,700 maps. They are located on the garden level in the alcove to the right of the elevator. They may be checked out for three weeks.
Holds: If you wish to use an item that has already been checked out to someone else, you may place a hold on the item and you will be notified when it is returned. The item will be held for five days at the Circulation Desk for pick up before it is re-shelved. Inquire at the Circulation Desk if you wish to place a hold on an item. Holds may not be placed on videos or course reserves.
