How to access CARL on a LIBROS terminal

At the welcome screen type L (connect to other Libraries and Databases)

Connect to:

1) UNM Medical Center Library 2) UnCover (CARL) 3) Expanded Academic Index 4) RETURN to previous screen You will receive a "Connecting to UnCover (CARL)" message and will be asked to identify your terminal type. Select 5 (VT100). Follow directions on the screens. Your choices on the screen are: 1. UnCover -- Article Access and Delivery 2. CARL Database Services 69. Knowledge One (Information Services) 58. British Library Document Supply Centre Through 2. CARL Database Services you can access the following groups of databases: 3. Library catalogs (for 22 Colorado libraries) 4. Current article indexes and access 5. Information databases 6. Other library systems (to connect to catalogs outside Colorado) 7. Library and system news (for CARL and Colorado information) Remember that if you pause over 30 seconds during your searching, you will be bounced back to the welcome screen of LIBROS.
