Special Borrowers
Special Borrowers' cards allow members of the community who are not associated with Tech to check out library materials.
An application must be filled out at the circulation desk in order to obtain a library card.
Special Borrowers may check out books, government documents, maps, audio tapes, and how-to videos/dvd's for thirty days. All other videos/dvd's may be checked out for three days.
Computers: We have a number of computers available for reference/internet use free of charge. Children under 17 years of age need to be under the direct supervision of a parent/guardian.
We are sorry, but Special Borrowers may not utilize Tech Library's Interlibrary Loan Service.
Renewals: Two renewals may be made by phone and, thereafter, in person, if no holds have been placed on the items. Reserve materials and videos may not be renewed. They must be brought back to the circulation desk to be checked in.
***It is now possible to renew your books online and view items that are checked out to your account! (Be sure to have your library card handy to enter your barcode number as "Patron ID.")***
Fines: See our fines policy for information on billing for overdue and lost materials.
