- Books (including government documents
and maps): There is no charge for overdue items.
- Audio Tapes, and Instructional Videos:
When these items become two weeks overdue,
the charge is $1 per item.
- Regular Videos and DVDs: The
charge is $1 per item for each day overdue.
- Course Reserves: $1
per hour (or part of an hour) overdue. (Example: 10 minutes overdue = $1,
1.5 hours overdue = $2, etc.) Course reserves which checkout overnight, or
for one or two weeks, incur a charge of $1 per day per item.
- Billing for Replacements: When
items become a month overdue (or two weeks overdue in the case of videos and
extended course reserves) the patron is billed the replacement cost of the
item.
NMT students, faculty, and staff are billed
through their accounts at the Cashier's Office. Special Borrowers must pay their
fines at the circulation desk.
