Circulating Resources
Circulating resources include:
- Books -- Books in a wide variety
of subjects are located on the second floor of the library.
- Government Documents -- The library
has been a depository for federal government documents since 1984 and for state
documents since 1988. Click
here for more information about our Government Documents collection.
- Audio Tapes and CD's-- Music and
spoken audio tapes and CD's, among others, may be be checked out. Music
materials of Tech's Music Program are for overnight use.
- Video Tapes/DVD's
-- We have approximately 1000 entertainment and instructional videos and
DVD's available for checkout. Entertainment videos/DVD's may be checked out
for three days, while instructional videos/DVD's circulate for three weeks.
(There is also a video/dvd viewing booth in the library)
- Maps -- The library owns approximately
17,700 maps. They are located on the garden level, to the right of the elevator,
and may be checked out for three weeks.
Holds: If
you wish to use an item that has already been checked out to someone else, you
may place a hold on the item and you will be notified when it is returned, after
which you will have five days to pick it up before it is re-shelved. Inquire
at the circulation desk if you wish to place a hold on an item. (Holds may not
be placed on videos and course reserves.)
