We the members of the Aditi Natesa Belly Dance and Drums Club are devoted to exploring the history, technique, and styles of belly dance and related drumming.

Membership is open to everyone, especially those interested in the art form of belly dance and related drumming. Voting members are limited to those who are students, faculty, and staff of New Mexico Tech. Only student members who have paid their student activity fee may vote on the expenditure of Student Association funds.

The leadership of the Aditi Natesa Belly Dance and Drums Club will be composed of a President and Treasurer. These officers shall be elected by a majority vote of club members attending the first meeting of the semester.

Article 4: Standards on Performance Preparation

The club sets its standards on performance preparation for the show quality and the respect for the efforts.

• Members hold a meeting no later than four weeks before a performance in order to discuss the costume choices, the dances that will be performed and the people that will perform each dance.
  
• Members, who intend to take part in the performance, are required to be present in this meeting to vote on the related issues and must already know the dances they intend to perform.
  
• Members, who will be absent for the meeting and absent for more than one third of the practices before the performance, must announce beforehand and present a reasonable excuse for absence.
