Chat Server

The Materials Deparment maintains a Internet Relay Chat (IRC) server. To join the server you may use either your browser's built in interface or your favorite IRC client (Hydra, Xchat, Colloquy). If using the web interface make sure you choose #materials from the drop down menu when you click here.
The IRC room is for prospective students to ask questions about the department and for current students to get help when they are off campus.
