Since 1995. I built up a very good experience and knowledge in the Sahabi Area Northeast Libya and from that time onward, I assisted an American and European Geologic teams from different countries ; Spain, Germany, Netherland, Greece, and Denmark.
From 2006 –Present, I’m the 2nd Libyan Co-director of the Sahabi Project(EAST LIBYA NEOGENE RESEARCH PROJECT) )(ELNRP)(See the brief history of the project and the area on CV) after the American Director Prof, Noel Boaz from Oregon State and the 1st Libyan Co-director Mr., Ahmed El-Kawafi. Iam planning to goon for this project as my PhD program here in NMTech. For my PhD study Iam going to study and will concentrate on solving some geologic problems that still in great debates, as determining the age of the formations, the petrology of the sediments, the diagenetic history, the stratigraphic positions of the exposed rock units, the sequence stratigraphy and the palaeoenvironment. I have a good interest to identifying the invertebrate fossils (micro and macro), investigating the lithology. More future and interesting work will be updated as going deep in the project.
