Teaching / Research Assistant (TA/RA) position in intelligent systems, structures, and mechanisms

This includes a broad range of smart/intelligent/adaptive structures and mechatronic applications incorporating active materials, smart controls and embedded intelligence.

As a TA/RA assistant you will participate in educational and research activities in the following areas: mechatronics, scientific instrumentation, experimental mechanics/acoustics; networks of sensors and actuators, artificial intelligence decision support for sensor networks, active and passive technologies for structural monitoring, structural analysis and condition assessment; detection and evaluation of incipient structural/material damage; complex nonlinear systems; structural dynamics, acoustics, and wave propagation.
