Some may find this surprising, but Star Wars is not the only movie from 1977 that influenced my young life. I watched Smokey and the Bandit, staring the now late Jerry Reed, almost as many times. My Dad had the soundtrack, I recorded the movie onto audio tape and listened to it many times. I am not a country music fan, but the music from that movie stuck with me. Jerry, you will be missed.
