harddrive

Not sure if this is going to work or not as the TCC just got completly hosed by a disk crash. Much worse then they should have, but that has been their lot in life.

I just noticed that a Seagate SATA harddrive has this little warning on it...

"Caution. Product warranty is void if any seal or label is removed, or if the drive experiences shock in excess of 350 Gs".

Wow! By "Gs" I assume they mean g as acceleration due to gravity on the Earth's surface. 350 g. Holy crap! I don't think I could exert that much force even if I strapped it to the front of my car and hit a brick wall at top speed.

I wonder, if I exert the drive to just 349 g could I then get a replacement under warranty? :^)
