Antennae

It's a warm spring day, with winds gusting about 40mph. What's the best thing to do? Help a friend put up 20 foot antennae of course. Ryan and I chose roof duty because that sounded more fun then staying on the ground. I fugured it's more likely for me to let go of the thing and kill someone on the ground then fall off the roof. I was basicly a boat anchor, keeping the pole from clobbering Brian or his truck on the ground below while Ryan tightened collers and bolts.

When that was done, we used a great New Mexico resource - dirt - to fill the 3" PVC tube that surrounded the antennae pole. Strange design, but it seemed to be quite structural. Anyways, no injuries; just a face full of dust for my trouble.
