OK so I am a moron. I just had to look up the word gourd in my dictionary because I did not know what it was. Upon looking it up I realized that I in fact did know what a gourd is I had just never seen it in print before. The word is pronounced like gorde, but since we speak english, the spelling is anybodys guess.

Honestly, I have never liked english, especially the spelling part. It reminds me of chemistry. Anytime you produce a spelling rule for english I can show you two or three exceptions to that rule. Perhaps I should learn Espiranto (is that how you spell it). Isn't there is a William Shatner movie that is entirely in Espiranto? That might be a good start.
