Well, I saw Lord Of The Rings last night. The only Tolkien I have read was The Hobbit, and that was when I was about seven years old. But I had no problem following the story. Years of D&D might have helped that.

Overall, I was very impressed. I could tell that several things were missing and for a three hour movie, it still seemed a bit rushed. But with such a big story, I suppose that is to be expected. The landscape was beautiful. I need to visit New Zealand some day.

Joel jumped at the spider/centepede scene and Meghan pretty much hated the whole thing. I am waiting for it to come to Socorro so I can see it several times for only $4.00.
