Installing the Thawte SGC Root Certificate.

Downloading the Thawte SGC Root Certificate
Right click the following link and left click on save as.
Save the file onto your computer.

The process of installing the
certificate will be different for each mail client.
Below are a few examples, the process should be fairly similar for
other clients.
Please consult with your email client's documentation on installing
certificates.
In general for Microsoft Windows:
- Open the folder in which you saved the Thawte_SGC_CA.crt
- Right click on the file.
- Left click on install certificate.
- Click next in the dialog.
- Select "Automatically select where to install the certificate".
- Click next.
- Click finish.
Your Windows email clients should now have access to the Thawte SGC
certificate. If not, please consult your client's documentation
of installing certificates.
In General For Mac OS X:
- Double-click the downloaded Thawte SGC Root Certificate.
- Keychain Access will open and ask you what to do with the certificate.
- Select "X509Anchors" from the "Keychain:" selection menu.
- Click the "OK" button.
- Authenticate as an administrative user in the next dialogue box.
- The certificate will be installed. Quit Keychain Access and relaunch your mail program.
For Mozilla Thunderbird:
- Click on Edit.
- Select Preferences.
- Click the advanced tab
- Click on Manage Certificates
- Click on the Authorities Tab.
- Click on Import
- Browse to where you saved Thawte_SGC_CA.crt
- Open SGC_CA.crt
- Select what you want to use the certificate for
- Click OK. The Thawte SGC Root Certificate is now installed.
