Curren Active Committees (as of 11/28/2012)
The GSA constitution needs a makeover. If you are interested contact the GSA.
We will be evaluating the benefits of graduate students paying for their own tuition. If you are interested in contributing, then please contact the GSA.
Travel Grants Review Committee
The Travel Grants Review Committee reviews the travel grant applications for a specific travel period. Being a part of the Travel Grants Committee is a one-time commitment that consists of reading all of the travel grants for that travel period. The committee then meets for roughly 3 hours (depending on the number of applications) to discuss all of the applications and make the awards. The review committee is anonymous to the applicants; sitting on the committee earns you two (2) points towards your next travel grant application. You may not sit on the committee if you have submitted an application for that travel period. The committee meets within 2 weeks after the travel grants deadline; announcements will be sent out seeking volunteers. If you are interested in being on the Travel Grants Review Committee, you may contact the GSA Grants Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Spring Picnic Committee
Each spring the GSA hosts a Spring Picnic for the graduate students. If you are interested in helping plan this event, please contact the GSA.

- To maintain records of Judiciary Oversight Board decisions.
- Select a Judiciary Oversight Board Chair who will conduct meetings and act as the voice of the Board.
This year’s Thanksgiving Dinner was set for Monday, November 19th, 2012. If you are interested in helping plan this event OR in volunteering for setup or cleanup in the future, then please contact the GSA.
