
ansys < fname > outwhere fname is the name of your source file and out is the name of the output file. There must not already be a file with the name of the second argument. For a quick check, you can omit the second argument.

it means that there is not enough workspace on your host.
Open an xterm on another terminal and run Ansys from there.
If you are using my X-window setup, move the cursor to the background
and hold down the middle button
to get a menu. Move to the bottom of the menu to get a new menu of hosts.
Release the button when the desired host is highlighted.
Alternatively, give the command give the command:
xon host &where host is the name of the host you want to run on. When you get an xterm on the new machine, first give the xld alias to get a load chart. Then change to your ansys directory and run Ansys.
