This part of the Digital Signal Processing with Free Software book introduces various DSP libraries and tools. Emphasis is placed on performing fundamental DSP operations such as fast fourier transforms or linear transformations. Also covered in this sections are tools that are complementary to basic signal processing, such as GNU Octave. Some non-elementary libraries will be introduced in this part, but a thorough overview of their applications is saved until Part III of this book.
