Application Materials

As part of your application to this program, you will automatically be considered for a second undergraduate summer research program, Interdisciplinary Science for the Environment. If you are interested in both progrms, simply apply to this program. There is no need to complete two sets of application materials.

In order to be eligible for this program, you

  1. must be a student at any 2 or 4-year New Mexico college (including Dine College), except UNM, NMSU, or New Mexico Tech
  2. must be either a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  3. must not earn a Bachelor's degree before July 30, 2011

There are three parts to a complete application:
  1. the application form, sent to NMT by you
  2. two reference letters, send directly to NMT by faculty that know you well
  3. official transcripts, sent directly to NMT by your school(s)

All three parts must be submitted before we can consider your application. If you are unable to have an official transcript sent to us to arrive on or before April 7, you may send an unofficial transcipt instead. However, we will need to recieve an official transcript before admitting you to the program.
